Oscars 2014: Last-Minute Predictions

Once you’re done with that, here’s a very quick list of the rest of my predictions. I arrived at all of them with the utmost scientific accuracy. (Okay, so I guessed on most of them.)

Best Animated Feature: “Frozen” (Also should win)

Best Cinematography: “Gravity” (Also should win)

Best Costume Design: “American Hustle” (Also should win)

Best Documentary: “20 Feet From Stardom”

Best Film Editing: “Gravity” (Should Win: “Captain Phillips,” for the sake of spreading the wealth)

Best Foreign Language Film: “The Great Beauty”

Best Makeup and Hairstyling: “Dallas Buyers Club”

Best Original Score: “Gravity” (Also should win)

Best Production Design: “The Great Gatsby” (Should win: “Her”)

Best Sound Editing: “Gravity” (Also should win)

Best Sound Mixing: “Gravity” (Also should win)

Best Visual Effects: “Gravity” (Also should win, by a margin of approximately 10,000%)
